Consumer engagement

Are you an organisation interested in reducing the impact of clothing on the environment? Are you active in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands or Denmark? If so we would like to hear from you!

We’re currently preparing campaign engagement packs that provide ideas and marketing materials that can be used by organisations to help consumers buy, use and dispose of textiles more responsibly.

The packs are based on materials and messages developed through WRAP’s successful Love Your Clothes campaign in the UK and adapted and tested with consumers in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Denmark. Could these ready-made, practical engagement packs for campaigns be useful to you? We would love to hear from you if so.

Why are we doing this?

The aim of ECAP’s Consumer action is to positively affect consumers’ buying, use, care and disposal of clothing, to extend the life of clothing across Europe, and divert it from incineration and landfill. Much of this could be achieved through increasing consumer awareness and encouraging behaviour change.

Who are we looking for?

We would like to hear from organisations that want to use the materials to deliver campaign activity in any of the four European countries and to record the impact.

We would also like help from organisations based within Europe to advertise and promote the engagement packs through relevant networks and websites.
